As a 501 [c] non-profit, public benefit developer, First Community Housing is committed to building high quality, sustainable, affordable housing and passing energy savings along to our tenants. We locate our developments adjacent to transit corridors and provide free “Eco Passes” to all our tenants. These passes allow for free bus and light rail use throughout Santa Clara County.
Our developments have won recognition for architecture design and sustainability, as well as excellence in property and asset management. FCH has pioneered the development of sustainable, energy efficient design maximizing the use of “green” building materials. FCH has extensive experience in developing multi-family housing, seniors housing, efficiency units, mixed-use developments and creating housing for the developmentally disabled and other special populations.
First Community Housing is a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO), a nonprofit, community-based service organization whose primary purpose is to provide and develop high-quality, affordable housing for our community.
